Old people seriously pmo

I can see the need for old people in society, they have lived life more than the youngsters can learn life skills or teach them old skills. They can also be a beacon of wisdom to the youngsters. The one thing I hate about the use of old people in society is we have to listen to them when it comes to cultural progression. Like fuck that I don’t need to ask my sensei if I should invest in a digital clock if they love how the analog clock works for them. I also hate how they can’t use technology or at least try to use technology. Like are you seriously telling me you would rather use AoL or dial up modem to call someone than just pressing 2 buttons on a cell phone? Like I get how they love what they are used to, but if technological progression makes your life easier and down right more convenient, why be stubborn against it?
Here is my biggest gripe, this old lady Johann, that keeps mistaking her own number with my own number and I keep getting calls from insurance companies or dealerships and I want to t help this poor lady but it’s come to a point where they spam call me while I’m trying to take a fucking exam in Intro to Engineering. Like I’m not fucking Johann this old lady cannot pay attention to fucking small details like her own phone number, she can be put in a box. Same goes for old teachers that prefer to use good ol paper and pen for assignments and school work instead of switching to digital stuff as most modern schools are doing now. Like I feel like it would be so tedious for a teacher to grade everything by hand for like 200 students then just be like Imma take 2 seconds to see if they cheated, nope ok here grade.
And this is my final gripe about old people. They cling on to life when they are suffering. I say it once and I’ll say it again, if I’m at a point in my life where I’m unable to move or talk just pull the plug at that point. It isn’t a suicidal idea or a death wish its just putting me out of my misery. If I’m not allowed to actually live, what's the point of living then? That’s why I feel like retirement homes should be repurposed. No, I’m not gonna get paid for taking care of a stinky old person who just pees himself every 6 minutes. Or care for an old person who can’t walk or talk. How am I supposed to know when he died? When he stops shitting? Seriously if you don’t have a purpose to contribute to society, then you’re just another lazy NEET.
Sure their presence may matter to people but if they’re still in a mental headspace like it’s the 1950s and calling an african american waiter the hard R. Like seriously keep up with the times. The best example of this was Soldier Boy from The Boys show and it was presented in a comedic way but imagine if you were Huey in that situation talking to a 80 year old guy saying those same exact things, it would be a lot to unpack and also they would be stubborn to understand the societal implications of why they are what they are. They don’t give a fuck. They rather read the rain soaked newspaper than to just look up a news article. Truly sad they’re so dumb and stubborn. Honestly I’m starting to connect the dots. I can finally understand why a lot of people in the newer generations are more liberal. Most old people are going to be more conservative because that’s what they truly believed was the American way or what not. Yeah maybe in the 1940s, but this is the big 25. Learn some fucking manners and learn to be a functional human being or else fuck you in the box you go.
